Ralph E. Rogers Jr. was born on 3/28/1931 in New York and lived in Mount Vernon and moved to 56 Intervale Place in Rye around the age of 5. He lived with his grandfather Robert, father Ralph, mother Augustn and older sister Balara. He was a Rye High School graduate, class of 1949. Rogers Jr. attended Cornell University and also attended Quartermaster Reserve Office Training Camp in Fort Lee Va. During the Korean War, Ralph served in the U.S. Army - 48th Field Artillery Battalion.
