David H. Rowan

David McLean Hamilton Rowan was born on January 1, 1927, in Bletchingley, Surrey, England, his father, Archibald, was 48 and his mother, Louise, was 39. He had two brothers Archibald and Stephen.

In Rye his family lived on Griswold Rd. and were members of Christ's Church.

David enlisted July 1, 1944 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was honorably discharged June 21,1946

He died on June 8, 2005, in Roxbury, Connecticut, at the age of 78.
