Lewis Brown was born in Kansas in 1909. In Rye his families address remains unknown. Lewis served as an officer in the U.S. Army during World War II.

General Harbords first wife, Emma Yeatman Ovenshiw died in 1937 at their home on Dogwood Lane. He is survived by his second wife. Lewis Brown III, a former executive with NBC-TV, was found dead yesterday morning at his home in Monterey. The exact cause of death, apparently natural, will be determined by autopsy, according to the Monterey County coroner's office.
