Thomas M. Lyden Jr.

Thomas M. Lyden Jr. was born in Norwalk Connecticut October 30, 1922 to Thomas and Ilene Lydon. In Rye his family lived at 164 Grandview Avenue, where his father was employed as a chauffer.

He had one brother John and three sisters Mary, Marguerite and Eileen and the family were members of the Church of the Resurrection.

Thomas enlisted and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

He married Betty Ann Ecay in 1942 and the couple would have three children. After the war Thomas was employed as a bus driver.

Thomas and family moved from Rye to Huntington Station, NY. He died July 29, 1985 and is buried in Calverton National Cemetery on Long Island.
