Kingdon P. Locker was born in Brooklyn, New York on 5/12/1929. Kingdon lived with his mother Mary and his father Fred on 14 Ellsworth Street, Rye, New York. Kingdon was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1947. He was given the nicknames "Chet" and "King" by his teachers and classmates in High School. During his High School career, King participated in Cheerleading, Tennis, Varsity Football, JV Basketball, and Intramural Baseball. Kingdon was a part of the "Les Aiglons" French Club, and he also participated in his High School play "What a Life". Kingdon was voted by his classmates to have the "Quickest Temper" in his yearbook's "Senior Poll". After high school, on September 11, 1951, he enlisted in the army and served in the 7th Infantry Division in Korea. He was released on August 27, 1953. After being discharged from the Army, he attended Albany Law School and graduated in 1956. He married Linda Daly and had two daughters, Suzanne and Jennifer who live in Fairfield, CT and, Bellows Falls, VT, respectively. He retired from being a lawyer in 1997. Kingdon Locker passed away in his home in Manchester Center, VT on September 27, 2001.
