BIOGRAPHY
 
Carson P. Herrick was born in New York in 1918. In Rye his family lived at 66 Milton Road and were members of the Presbyterian Church. Carson served as an officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II.

Received College Degree Ensign Allan M. Herrick. USNR, son of Mrs. Clarence Herrick of Blind Brook Lodge, received his degree in absentia with honors from Wesleyan University on June 24. His brothers ate also in the service, Carson is a flight officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force, Paul is a lieutenant j. g. in the United States Naval Reserve and hopes to put in on the West Coast in September Thomas Carnegie, 3rd. husband of the former Miss Florence Herrick, is flight instructor in the U. S. Air Force. Instructing French cadets at Montgomery, Ala Mrs. Carnegie is with him. PAGE FOUR THE RYE CHRONICLE Friday, July 20th 1945

HERRICK, Carson Peck Peacefully at home in Ottawa on Tuesday, November 20, 1984; loving husband of Vivien. Father of Jill (Mrs. F.J. Dunbar), Oakville; Carson A., Edmonton; and stepfather of Diana Brophy (Mrs. Peter LaRocque), Smiths Falls. Grandfather of Alan, Eric and David Haslett, Oakville; and Kimberly, Edmonton. Brother of Paul, Allan and Florence (Mrs. T. Carnegie III). Friends may attend the funeral service at St. John's Anglican Church, Elgin at Somerset Street, on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment Beechwood Cemetery.
