Dear sirs . You have mixed up part of this article with my father John L Mansfield  . But he is not the man you're article is about . He was an airforce officer his crew Union Maide fought in world War 2 and they were awarded several medals. This part of your article is facts for my father  "John Lewis Mansfield was born on September 3, 1925, in Taunton, Massachusetts, to Harriet E Lewis, age 38, and John Joseph Mansfield, age 40. " the rest of this article is not about my father John Lewis Mansfield born 9 /3/ 1925
he passed in a VA hospital in Durham NC 05/04/2009
