BIOGRAPHY
 
John P. Boettger was born in New York in 1919. In Rye his family lived at 19 East 80th Street. John enlisted and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

John Boettger, 90, of Jupiter died Tuesday. He was born in New York and moved to Florida 30 years ago. He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II. He enjoyed traveling frequently.

Survivors include his life partner, Frances Burd; daughters, Christine (Paul) Amaden, Gail (Douglas) Ricci, Allison (Mitch) Mohagel, Pamela (Brent) Martin and Leslie Rowley and Gary Divin; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Harriet, his wife of 53 years. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL, 33407.

He will be buried at the Memorial Garden at First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan in Connecticut. Aycock Funeral Home, Jupiter was in charge of the arrangements.
