Thomas J. Otto

Thomas Patrick Joseph Otto was born on August 17, 1925, in Port Chester, New York, his father, Walter, was 41 and his mother, Delia, was 39. He had two brothers Charles and Walter and a sister Kathryn. In Rye his family lived at 8 Locust Ave and were members of the Church of the Resurrection. Thomas was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1943.

Thomas enlisted in the Army on September 19, 1943, in Greensboro, North Carolina, during World War II. He was 18 years old and would serve three years as a Private First Class. He was honorably discharged on March 9, 1946.

He died on January 8, 1980, in Dade City, Florida, at the age of 54, and was buried in Calverton, New York.
