Daniel J. Calandriello

Daniel Joseph Calandriello was born on December 4, 1911, in New York, his father, Donato, was 21 and his mother, Addolorata, was 25. He had five brothers. In Rye his family lived at 102 Maple Ave. and were members of the Church of the Resurrection. He attended Rye Schools and was a graduate of Rye High School.

Daniel enlisted June 17,1942 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. he was honorably discharged January 13,1946

After the War Daniel was a builder and operator of Golf Courses. He retired in 1974 as operator of Mooresville Country Club in Mooresville NC, a club he had built.

He died on May 30, 1977, in Rye, New York, at the age of 65.
