Frederick Davis (Peter) Jenkins

Frederick Davis (Peter) Jenkins was born on September 21, 1926, in Rye, New York, to Winifred Van Pelt Gorton, age 26, and Frederick Davis Jenkins Sr, age 24.

He had a brother Bruce and a sister Alevia. In Rye his family lived at 4 Oakland Gardens and were members of the Presbyterian Church

Peter was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1944. He enlisted in 1944 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Peter married Mary Elizabeth Robie in Rye, New York, on August 27, 1949, when he was 22 years old.

Mary was a graduate of Rye High School and of the Greenwich Hospital School of Nursing. Peter alumnus of Rye High School served in the Naval Air Corps and attended Georgia Institute of Technology. He was with the Columbia Broadcasting System in New York


Frederick Davis (Peter) Jenkins died on December 5, 1999, in Greenwich, Connecticut, when he was 73 years old.
