Livingston A. Mc Dowell was born in New York in 1924. The census records show his families Home in 1940: Greenburgh and were members of Christ Church. Livingston enlisted and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Girl Red Bank Becomes Bride (Daily Reord Wire) RED BANK Miss Peggy Ann Cosentino, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Giacomo Cosentino, 17 Willow St., Saturday became the bride of Livingston A. Mc Dowell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Livingston Mc Dowell, 15 Poplar Ave., Deal. The Rev. George Albano officiated at the ceremony at 4 o'clock at St. An thony rectory. A reception for 200 guests followed at St. Anthony's Hall. The bride, given in marriage by her father, appeared in a French imported lace ana satin gown, designed with an off-shoulder illusion neckline. A fingertip veil of French illusion net was attached to a sweetheart crown, and she carried white roses and white orchids. Miss Matilda De Santis, Lynd-hurst, the bride's cousin, was maid of honor. She wore a gown of old rose satin and net, and a juliet cap with pink ostrich plumes, and carried pink pompom dahlias. Leo William Cattanach, Long Branch, the bridegroom's cousin was best man. After their return from a motor trip through the Berkshires, the couple will make their home at Deal. The bride was graduated from Red Bank High School and at tended Monmouth Junior College The bridegroom was graduated from Middletown Township High, and during World War II he served with the Navy In the Pacific Theatre. He is employed by the borough of Deal.
