Rocco Salvatore Florio was born on October 13th, 1932 to Rocco Florio and Mary Bellantoni, and lived at 14 High Street. He graduated from Rye High School in 1950. While in high school he played JV Baseball, Varsity Baseball, and belonged to Leaders Club. He was known as "Rocky" while attending Rye High School. He served in the Korean War where he was in the 44 Engineer Construction Group. Later on, he worked for Pitney Bowes as a mechanic. Rocco married Jeanie in 1958 and had 3 children: two girls and one boy and seven grandchildren. Rocco Salvatore Florio died on May 28, 2018. He had a brother named Emanuel who predeceased him as well a sister Josephine who survived him.

Rocky, just a quick hello.  Sorry I missed you the few times I tried to locate you before you passed.  God rest your soul.  I suppose I'll be seeing you shortly.
