Donald C. Farnsworth was born in Virginia in 1914. In Rye his family lived on Rye Road. Donald enlisted in 1943 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Miss Elizabeth B. Hevenor Weds Donald C. Farnsworth
Miss Elizabeth Breeland Hevenor. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glostet Parnell Hevenor, of Rye Road, be came the bride of Donald Corsey Farnsworth, Monday evening, in her parents home. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Thomas J. Shannon of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church of Ansonia. Conn. A reception followed. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of ivory satin and a Juliet veil. Her bouquet was of gardenias and lilies of the valley. Mrs. George England, Jr. , of Hot Springs, Va. . was her sisters only attendant. Hugh Farnsworth was best man. The bride attended St. Marys College at Hackettstown. N. J. Mr. Farnsworth is the son of Mr. and Mrs Hugh Blaine Farnsworth. of Hot Springs, Va. He is a graduate of Hampton-Sydney College. They will make their home at Hot Springs after a wedding trip.

Donald Farnsworth, 86 FALLBROOK -

Donald Coursey Farnsworth, 86, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, at his home. Born Feb. 6, 1914, in Williamsville, Va., he lived in Fallbrook for 20 years. He worked for United Eastern Coal Sales Corp. before retiring as president in 1980.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Mr. Farnsworth was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth H. Farnsworth, on April 11, 1999. He is survived by his son, Donald C. Farnsworth Jr. of Fallbrook; daughters Carole Farnsworth Ryan of Belle Mead, N.J., and Pamela Farnsworth Mac Mannis of Darien, Conn.; brother Frederick Farnsworth of Indian Lakes, Fla.; sisters Rosemary Turney of Oceanside and Madeline Ward of Hot Springs, Va.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Fallbrook Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Robert Cunningham officiating. Inurnment will take place at Union Chapel Cemetery in Hot Springs. The family suggests memorial donations to Fallbrook Hospice, 624 E. Elder St., Fallbrook, CA 92028. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary is handling arrangements.
