Francis M. Ryan

Francis M. Ryan was born in Port Chester New York August 18, 1921 to Annie and Michael Ryan. He had two brothers John and James and a sister Anna. In Rye his family lived at 15 School Street and wer members of the Church of the Resurrection. Francis was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1938.

At RHS he was a junior coach, ran track, played baketball and was a member of the Ping Pong and Drivers Clubs. Berfore the war he was working for Vought Sikorsky Aircraft, Stratford Conn.







Francis enlisted December 5, 1943 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
