Homer S Goodwin was born in Pennsylvania on 1901. In Rye his family lived at 66 Milton Rd (Blindbrook Apts) and were members of Christ Church. Homer served as an officer in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

H. Stanley Goodwin of Deep River. CT former resident of Rye, died Sept. 11 in Middlesex Memorial Hospital, Middletown, Conn. He was a graduate of the Kent school and Princeton University. Mr. Goodwin is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Bill Miller, a son, Dr. Stanley Goodwin, a daughter. Mrs. Richard Manning and two step-daughters, Mrs. Donald A. Adley and Mrs. Nancy Connolly
