BIOGRAPHY Extended Information

Jane E Mooney

Jane E Mooney was born in New York in 1921. She was the adopted daughters of Harry R. and Lucy Drum Mooney. In Rye her family lived on Oakwood Ave.

We believe Jane was a nurse per the 1940 census at The St. Vincent's School of Nursing.

Jane enlisted January 31, 1944 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Most likely serving in the U.S. Army Nurses Corp.

We know by her father Harry Rich Mooney's obituary in 1957 that she was married, now Jayne M. Prescott, living in Great Neck Long Island.

Jayne M. Prescot we believe from article at left, was the Director of Nursing at Central Hospital in Plainview, Long Island.

We further know from the social security death index that Jane E Mooney(Prescott) died October 13, 2002
