Richard Frederick Mann

Richard Frederick Mann was born on January 24, 1924, in New York, his father, Jacob, was 34 and his mother, Emily, was 25.

In Rye his family lived at 66 Orchard Avenue and were members of the Presbyterian Church. Richard was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1942.

He enlisted and served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. For over 2 years Richard served on ships in Newfoundland, Iceland and Ireland as a Gunners Mate.

He married Anna Hershkell and they had one son. Richard Frederick Mann died on June 2, 2016, in Englewood, Florida, at the age of 92.
