I admire what you are doing to honor those from the community who served in the military during wartime. Charles Beary was my Uncle Charlie, who was born in Rye and lived in our family’s home at 175 Purchase Street his entire life with the exception of a period spent in a veteran’s hospital at war’s end. He died around 1977 I believe.
