Angelo, my father, served in the pacific on board the carrier USS Bennington CV 20.  Participated in battles of Iwo Jima, Okinawa, and air strikes on the Japanese mainland islands.  Holds ribbons: American Area Campaign, Asia Pacific Campaign, WWII Victory.
