Casper H. Olfers was born in New York in 1921. In Rye his family lived at 131 North Street. Casper was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1939. He enlisted in 1942 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

OLFERS Geraldine B. Olfers, 82, passed away on March 13, 2006. She was the widow of Casper Hamilton Olfers, daughter of the late Raymond D. and Isabel B. Burnet of Winnetka, IL and Wianno, MA, sister of Muriel A. Burnet of Chicago, IL and the late Raymond K. Burnet of PA. She also leaves a nephew Adam W. Burnet of N.J. She formerly lived in Sarasota, FL and Chappaqua, NY, was a former president of the Mt. Kisco, NY AAUW Chapter, was always involved in a myriad of volunteer activity, including the Chappaqua, NY Historical Society, and areas of the medical environment. She held a degree from Pine Manor Jr. College, Wellesley, MA and a BS degree from North Western University. She was a past member of the Sara Bay Club, Sarasota and Sawgrass Beach Club of Ponte Vedra Beach. Inurment will be private.
