BIOGRAPHY
Charles Russell Ferris was born in New York in 1924. In Rye his family lived at 35 Oakland Gardens and were members of Christ Church. Charles enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Charles Ferris on February 19,2007 at Greenwich Hospital. Mr. Ferris was the proprietor of the Marina Deli in Rye, NY from 1965 to 1978. He was predeceased by his much loved wife of 53 years Clara in December of 1996. He is survived by his son Richard and his wife Andrea and four grandchildren: Christopher, Danielle, Daina and Alyssa. Funeral and internment are private. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Greenwich Hospital, 5 Perryridge Rd. Greenwich, CT 06830 in his memory. GRAHAM FUNERAL HOME 1036 Boston Post Rd.
