Emerson Irving was born in NEW JERSEY in 1925. In Rye his family lived at 34 Elizabeth St. . Emerson was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1944. He enlisted in 1944 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

TSGT, US AIR FORCE SN, US NAVY TEC5, US ARMY WORLD WAR II, KOREA, VIETNAM IRVING, EMERSON JR., 77, of Hudson, died Friday (Aug. 22, 2003) at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. Born in Trenton, N.J. he came here in 1998 from Port Richey. He was a data processor for Homelite Corp., Port Chester, N.Y. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a Navy veteran of the Korean War, and an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from the Air Force with more than 20 years of service and was a member of the VFW. He was Christian. Survivors include his son, Bruce, Hudson; a daughter, Brenda Sturges, Brookfield, Conn.; three sisters, Violet Mosier, Hudson, Mae Cicoria, Homosassa Springs, and Mary Sala, St. Petersburg; two grandchildren; and companion, Gloria Ericksen, Port Richey.
