Harold F Cohan

Harold F Cohan was born on January 19, 1917, in Mount Vernon, New York, to Rose Cohan, age 25, and Michael Cohan, age 25. In Rye his family lived at 448 Forrest Ave. In 1940, Harold was working for the Daily Item Newspaper in Port Chester, NY

Harold enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Delores D Talbot on April 30, 1945, in Baltimore, Maryland. They had two children during their marriage.

Harold would own and operate his own Dry Cleaning Business in Baltimore for many years.

Harold (Hat) Cohan died Thursday January 24,1985 in Wisconsin at the age of 68.

At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife; one son, Kevin of Independence, Wis.; one daughter, Maureen Ruppel of Appleton; his mother of Baltimore, Md,; and 4 sister, Margie of Baltimore. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother. His body was donated to medical science.
