BIOGRAPHY
 
John P. Kelley was born in Wisconsin in 1925. In Rye his family lived at 30 Locust Ave. and were members of the Presbyterian Church. John was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1943. He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

John P. Kelley CORVALLIS - Services will be 2 p.m. today at McHenry mortuary for John P. Kelley, 56, of 3455 NW Harrison St., who died Monday. Born in Milwaukee, Wis., he graduated in electrical engineering from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute in 1947 and did graduate study at Buck-nell and Colgate universities. In 1966 he came to Corvallis and was with the X-ray science and engineering laboratory at Oregon State University. Prior to his death, he was the radiation safety officer and associate professor of radiological physics. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and Corvallis Rotary Club. Survivors include wife, Marian; sons Edwin W., Corvallis, and John A., Chicago, III.; daughter, Linda A., Corvallis. Private final rites will be at Mt. Crest Abbey, Salem.
