Kenneth Andrew Hubel was born in NYC on Nov. 11, 1927. He was RHS Class of 45. He served in the Navy from July, 1945, until June 1946. He was a Seaman First Class and was trained as a radar technician. He graduated from the Univ. of Rochester in 1950 and from Cornell Medical College in 1954. Inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Society. Pro-fessor at Univ. of Iowa Carver College of Medicene from 1962-98. Taught gastroenterology. Research Fellow-Oxford University 1969-70. Married Jan Greer in 1957-three children
