Lewis H. Lee was born in New York in 1924. In Rye his family lived at 17 Stuyvesant Avenue. Lewis was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1942. He enlisted in U.S. Army during World War II.

Lewis H. Lee Jr. Lewis H. Lee Jr., 75, of Luther Crest Retirement Community, South Whitehall Township, died Monday, Dec. 6, in Luther Crest. He was the husband of Jean A. (Andrews) Lee. They were married for 52 years in June. He worked for Fieldcrest Mills, Inc., Eden, N.C., for 35 years before retiring in 1992 as vice president in charge of planning. He received his bachelor's and master's from California Western University, Santa Ana. - Born in New York City, he was aLson of the late Lewis H. Sr. and Marion (Updegrove) Lee. . He was a member of Jordan Lu-tlieran Church, Orefield. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: Wife; sons, Gary M. of Horn Lake, Miss., and Brian E. of Pompton Plains, N.J., and three grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday in the church.
