When James Izzo was born in 1901 in New York, his father, Samuel, was 33 and his mother, Marie, was 32. He had two brothers and three sisters. In Rye his family lived on Maple Ave.. James enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II and served as corporal In the 328 Army Air Force Base Unit . His brother Michael Izzo also served during the war.

He is survived by two sisters of Port Chester Mrs Fank Rich end Mrs Michael Rich one brother Michael Izzo Hicksville LIand several nieces and nephews’
