Daniel J Petrucelli

Daniel J Petrucelli was born Sept 1, 1916, in Rye to John and Mary Inglese Petrucelli .Daniel attended Rye schools and lived in Rye untill 1948. In Rye his family lived at 224 Central Ave. Daniel enlisted in 1942 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.


He married Mary L. Martino on April. 18, 1948. The couple lived to Harrison. She died in 1971.

Daniel married Winifred Schmeiler on Jan. 19, 1974. Daniel was a machinist for 15 years with Macton Machinery in Stamford, Conn., and a Harrison schools maintenance worker for 20 years. He retired in 1980. Daniel was a parishioner at St. Gregory the Great Church in Harrison.

Daniel Joseph Petrucelli a lifelong resident of Rye and Harrison, died yesterday at United Hospital Medical Center in Port Chester, He was 77.

At the time of his death, in addition to his wife of Harrison, Daniel was survived by a daughter, Marilyn Petrucelll Pava of Bedford Hills; two stepdaughters, Elaine Suda of Pound Ridge and Winifred Ann Raffeele of Darien, Conn.; three brothers, Ralph Petrucelll of Fort Lauderdale Thomas Petrucelli of Port SL Lucie, Fla., and Leonard Petrucelli of Rye; three sisters, Helen Cardone of Brewster, and Mary Croce and Ada Donnelly, both of Rye; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A brother, John Petrucelli; and a sister, Carmella Martino, died earlier.
