John Thomas WilliamsJohn Thomas Williams was born on July 7, 1919, in New York City, New York, to Katherine Zerani Richards and Maurice Stephen Williams. His father was a dentist working in Harrison. John attended Rye schools and his family lived at 5 Mendota Avenue. In 1940, the family had moved to Hawthorne, NY and John was working at Tommasi Motors Inc. in Scarsdale.
John enlisted March 19, 1941 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After his honorable discharge, he returned home, went to college and got married. In 1950, he and his wife Mary were living in Mt Pleasant, NY and had a son John Thomas Williams Jr. At that time he was working as a manager at a auto service manager at an Auto Dealership.
The family would stay local living in Westchester County and Fairfield County, CT. John would retire a building inspector in Madison, CT.
John Thomas Williams died in Middletown, CT on June 29, 1991, when he was 71 years old.
