Kendric W. Taylor was born on 9/15/1933. Kendric was an only child who grew up on 82 Rye Road in Rye with his mother Francesa, his father Kendric. His father was the head of the house and worked as a Salesman. His mother was a stay at home mom and took care of Kendric. Kendric graduated from Rye High School in 1952. In High School, Kendric was known as “Ken” and “Pup” by his peers. Kendric was also described as “in company a merry, pleasant fellow.” Kendric was a sports advocate and played football and ran track. He was a member of the Spanish club and was a part of the Cafeteria Committee. During the Korean War, Kendric proudly served his country.
