Growing up in Rye, Charles E Todenhagen went to Rye High School, and was a part of the Class of 1938. In high School he played football and was also a member of the school Stagecraft Club. He enlisted in 1942 and served in the U.S Navy in WW2.
After the war, he got married to a girl named Arlene Todenhagen and had one son and daughter, their names were Peter Todenhagen, and Sandra Austin.
However he passed away on 11/30/1999, his death he was survived by his three grandchildren and two great grandchildren, where he was put to rest at Poestenkill, Rensselaer County, New York at the age of 80.
