Henry Leland Lowe

Henry Leland Lowe was born on November 4, 1913, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Irene Pierce Moses, age 30, and Henry Leland Lowe, age 32. In Rye his family lived on North Street. He attended Andover Academy and Cornell University.

Henry served as an officer in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

Pfc. H. Leland Lowe, Jr. , son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Leland Lowe, North Street, is at the AAF basic training center, Greensboro, N. C. He entered the Army on April 9, 1943. Pfc. Lowe attended Andover Academy and Cornell University.

He married Jean Qua Jardine on March 19, 1943, in Cook, Illinois. They had one child during their marriage. He died in 1960, in Nassau, Bahama at the age of 46.

At the time of his death he was survived by his brother Richard Harrison Lowe.

As of November 1, 2025 we have no further information on this veteran. It is believed he and his family moved to the Bahamas in the early 1950's.
