James W. OKeefe

James William O'Keefe was born on October 3, 1925, in Connecticut, his father, Peter, was 28 and his mother, Thelma, was 24 In Rye his family lived at 23 Purchase Street and were members of the Church of the Resurrection.



James enlisted and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was a Navy Medic. Pharmacist Mate Third Class, assigned to a Marine Infantry Division

James married Prudence Ann Pennington, November 27,1949. They would have two sons and two daughters.

James William O'Keefe died on October 15, 1999, in Walden, New York, at the age of 74, and was buried in Newburgh, New York.
