BIOGRAPHY
 
John Frederick Henne was born in New York in 1910. In Rye his family lived on Locust Avenue. John enlisted and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

J. Fred Henne Review by John F. Henne on Apr 10, 2013 Fred died in 1990. He served in the Navy as a Fire Fighter Instructor, stationed in Lakehurst, NJ. He later served as Chief of the rye Volunteer Fire Department and was a long term employee of the Rye National Bank and later C. M. Almy & Sons. His first son, Girard G. Jerry Henne served in the Navy and later as a NY State Trouper His second son, John F. Henne served in the Army in Vietnam with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment.

Fred died in 1990.  He served in the Navy as a Fire Fighter Instructor,
