George N. Andrews
George Neill Andrews was born in 1913 in New York City, New York, to Anne Quailly and Charles Andrews. In Rye his family lived on Newberry Place. George was graduated from the University Virginia in 1934.
He served as an officer in the U.S. Army during World War II. George was with the 207th Coast Artillery (anti-aircraft), the old 7th Regiment, stationed at Camp Stewart, Ga.
He married Elizabeth Perry Knowlton in April 1942 and they had two daughters..
