Temple P. Balls

Temple Paul Balls and his twin brother Victor were born June 29 1913 in Rye son of the late James C and Catherine O’Brien Balls both Rye natives. He had four brothers Vincent, Tom, John and Victor and sister Marjorie. In Rye his family lived at 21 Railroad Ave. and were members of the Church of the Resurrection. He attended Rye schools and enlisted and served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

Temple was an employee of the New York Telephone Co. He married Anne Kubricky on October 5, 1946, in Greenwich, Connecticut. They had one child during their marriage.

He moved from Rye to Port Chester in the late 1940’s. He was a committeeman with Boy Scout Troop 2 In Port Chester and was a recipient of the Order of the Arrow a scouting award. He attended the Church of the Resurrection in Rye before moving to Port Chester where he attended Corpus Christ! Church.

Village Man Is Apparent – Suicide At 59 Temple Paul Balls 59 of S3 Upland St Fort Chester was found dead In his garage Tuesday afternoon the apparent victim of a shotgun suicide His body was discovered shortly after 3 i5m by his son Vincent 19 who notified the police.

At the time of his death, he was survived by ls wife Mrs Ann Kabrtcky Balls his son Vincent of the home address two brothers Thomas of Mesa Ariz and Victor of Tonawandal NY and a sister Mrs Webster (Marjorie) Kenney of Wllliamivill N Y
