Benjamin H. Byron
Benjamin Harrison Bryon was born on April 29, 1918, in Brooklyn, New York, to Helen L Ford, age 27, and Benjamin Harrison Bryon, age 29.
He attended
Taber Academy and was graduated
from Dartmouth in 1940. He was a member of Zeta Psi Fraternity.
Benjamin married Mary Elizabeth Hitt on May 7, 1942, in Rye, New York. At the time he was working for the Luder Construction Company in Stamford, CT.
Benjamin enlisted and served as an officer in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He attended Reserve Midshipmen School, University of Notre Dame in 1942 and was commissioned an officer in March of 1943. See Muster Rolls
After the war, Benjamin worked as a sales representative in the Textile Industry. He and Mary were living in Greenwich, CT and had two daughters.
Benjamin Harrison Bryon died on January 15, 2003, in Riverside, Connecticut, at the age of 84.
