Joseph R DaceyJoseph R Dacey was born on August 18, 1925, in Fall River, Massachusetts, to Mary Dacey, age 23, and John P Dacey, age 24. Joseph was a Rye High School graduate, Class of 1943

He enlisted and served in the US Air Force during WWII. Joseph graduated from’ the AAF Training Command’s aircraft radio mechanics school Truax Field, Madison. Wis., where he studied the servicing of radio equipment used on the U. S.
bombers and fighter planes. He also studied defense against chemical warfare, aircraft Identification, and related subjects designed to fit him for combat.

He married Miss Patricia Reeme on February 18,1950 in Detroit MI. They would have one son and one daughter.

Joseph R Dacey died on January 28, 2009, in Gaylord, Michigan, at the age of 83.

At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife Beloved of 58 years, Patricia and children Sandra Rider (Gary) and Robert (Karen). Dear grandfather of Kristine, Erin, Justin, Hunter and Haydin. Great grandfather of Riley. Brother of Patricia Early (the late Thomas). Also survived by five loving nieces and one nephew.
