Arthur Demane
Arthur (Arcoline) Dimenna (Demane) was born on August 16, 1899, in New York to Catarina Riccio, age 37, and Leonardo Dimenna, age 48.. He had six brothers and two sisters. In Rye his family lived at 23 High Street and were members of the Church of the Resurrection.
Arthur enlisted August 19 1942 at the age of 43 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was discharged on January 30, 1943
Arthur was a professional golfer who competed in local and national events from the 1920’s thru the 1950’s.
Arthur Demane died on July 16, 1976, at the age of 76, and was buried in Virden, Illinois.
