Anthony Joseph Don Francisco
Anthony Joseph Don Francisco was born on December 11, 1926, in Harrison, New York, to Caroline DeChristofaro, age 34, and Antonio “Anthony” Don Francisco (Francesco), age 37.In Rye he lived at 23 Hewlett Street. Anthony was a Rye High School graduate class of 1945.
He left school early and enlisted in the US Navy. Other members of the class who joined the armed services were George Kirby, William Homer, Warren Haven, Jordon Hall, Anthony Don Francisco, William Wahl, Kobert Fetridge, Patrick Tigano, Thomas Lufkin and Roland Rundle.
Anthony’s engagement to Anne Doto was announced in July 1945, it is unclear whether a wedding followed, at the time he was working at Playland.
The 1950 census states that at age 23, he was never married, living with his parents and working as a bank teller.
Anthony Joseph Don Francisco died on May 30, 1994, in Miami-Dade, Florida, at the age of 67.
