Description

Daniel J. Kelly was born In New York City, New York on December 5th, 1930. He lived on 61 Old Post Road with his mother, Gertrude E. Kelly, and father, John J. Kelly and his father’s brother James Kelly. Daniel also had two sisters, Elenor and Marie E Kelly, while also having a brother, John. Daniel’s mother worked around the house, while his father worked a 48 hour week as a salesman. Both of Daniel’s parents were native New Yorkers and remained there for the rest of their lives. Daniel Kelly was a Rye High School graduate, class of 1949. He was a dedicated student with an impeccable attendance record, he also participated in the Football team. He later served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
