Robert William LloydRobert William Lloyd was born in New York December 16, 1922. In Rye his family lived on Brevoort Lane and were members of the Presbyterian Church. Robert was a graduate of the New York Military Academy at Cornwall. N. Y.
He enlisted June 18, 1942 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. For a time he was stationed at Berkley, CA, with the Coast Artillery anti aircraft.
After the war he worked as a car salesman in Mamaroneck, NY. He married Janice Ann Badman in Florida on September 14, 1949 and they had one son.
Robert William Lloyd, 82, of Onancock, VA, died Thursday, May 12, 2005, at his home. No public services were held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, PO Box 316, Park-sley, Va. 23421. Arrangements are being handled by Williams-Onancock Funeral Home.
