Rosier J. Van Haasteren
Rosier Van Haasteren was born on September 6, 1920, son of Rosier Adrian and Johanna Van Zeulan Van Haasteren. He had four sisters and one brother. Rosier attended Rye Schools and was a Rye High School graduate, class of 1938. In Rye his family lived at 64 Orchard Ave and were members of the Church of the Resurrection.
Rosier enlisted and served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.
Rosier married Aileen Wright in Rye, New York, on February 15, 1948, when he was 27 years old. They had one daughter.
Rosier VanHaasteren died on January 14, 2006, in Delray Beach, Florida, when he was 85 years old.
