BIOGRAPHY
 
Salvatore A. DeCicco was born in New York in 1909. In Rye his family lived at 12 Archer Place and were members of the Church of the Resurrection. Salvatore enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Salvatore DeCicco, 62, of 116 Bradford Ave., died suddenly Wednesday morning at his home. The funeral will be from the Will Ham H. Graham Funeral Home at 9 a.m. Friday, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at the Church of the Resurrection at 9:30 a.m. Mr. DeCicco was born in Rye Neck on Sept. 30, 1909, son of the late Vincent James and Madeline Bruno DeCicco. He was educated in Rye schools and was a member of the Church of the Resurrection. A World War II veteran, he was a member of the Rye Memorial Post of the Veterans of Foreign J Wars and of the Rye American Legion Post. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Florence Cardone of the home address; three brothers, James of Port Chester, Harry of Rye, and Victor of Fort Collins, Colo.; five ' nieces and eight nephews.
