William C. Carroll
William Curtis Carroll was born on March 19, 1917, in New York, New York, his father, Ralph, was 34 and his mother, Dorothy, was 32. He married Julianna Neel on June 15, 1945, in Mecklenburg, North Carolina. They had one child during their marriage. In Rye his family lived at 29 Browndale Place and were members of Christ Church. William enlisted in 1942 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He died on July 10, 1998, in Sharon, Connecticut, at the age of 81, and was buried in Connecticut.

Miss Juilianna Neel of Orlando, Fla. and Corpl. William Curtis Carroll of Hilltop Place, were married today in the Caldwell Memorial Presbyterian Church of Charlotte, N. c. The Rev. c. c. McCture, pastor of the church performed the ceremony in the presence of the families of the bride and groom. The bride was given In marriage by her brother, Monroe Keel of Charlotte. Her only attendant was her sister. Miss Marguerite Neel of Orlando,Fla. The grooms father was best man. Mrs. Carroll is the daughter of Mrs. Joseph Francis Neel, formerly of Orlando, and the late Mr. Neel.
Corpl,Carrol is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph c. Carroll and is a graduate ot the gunnery School at Washington,Conn, and Wesleyan University. After a wedding trip to the Florida coast, Corpl. and Mrs. Carroll will live in Augusta, Ga. where he is stationed in the United States Army at Camp Gordon
