BIOGRAPHY
 
Angelo F. Delvecchio was born in New York in 1909. The census records show his families Home in 1940: Bridgeport and were members of the Church of the Resurrection. Angelo enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

ANGELO DEL VECCHIO A funeral Mass was held Tuesday at the Church of the Resurrection for Angelo F. Del Vecchio, 77, of 351 Midland Avenue, who died Saturday at United Hospital after , a short illness. Interment was in St., Mary's Cemetery. A retired employee of the Rye : Recreation Department, Mr. Del Vecchio was a lifelong resident of ; Rye. He was born here on March 22, 1909, son of the late Michael and Maria Gioseffi Del Vecchio. He attended Rye schools and was a parishioner of the Church of the Resurrection. He retired from the Recreation Department in 1969. Survivors include his wife, the former Maria Sperduto of the home address; two brothers, Thomas A. DelVal of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Michael T DeVal of Rye two sisters, Mrs. Frank Matturro of Rye and Mrs. Gus Costas of Harrison, and several nieces and nephews.
