Anthony Brendel

Anthony E Brendel was born on April 27, 1927, in New York City, New York, to Helen “Ella” V Moran, age 26, and Anthony E Brendel, age 31. He had one sister Helen and a brother Joseph. In Rye his family lived 407 Forest Ave. and were members of the Church of the Resurrection.

Anthony was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1944. In high school he was home room president, ran track and played baseball. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He married Sally Ann Whipple on September 3, 1949, in Rye, New York. They had four children during their marriage.

Anthony died on May 20, 2017, in Connecticut at the age of 90.
