Daniel Robert Verille

Daniel Robert Verille was born on December 16, 1913, in Rye, New York, his father, Joseph, was 26 and his mother, Catherine, was 22. He had five brothers Louis, Leonard, John, Joseph and Paul and two sisters Florence and Violet. He died on July 12, 1995, at the age of 81, and was buried in his hometown. In Rye his family lived at 23 High Street and were members of the Church of the Resurrection. He attended Rye schools and was a Rye High School graduate.

Daniel enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. In 1945 he married Rose Botticelli.

After the war Daniel, was employed for 40 years as superintendent of the Ridgeway Country Club in White Plain. He retired in 1981.
He was an avid golfer who was a member of the Metropolitan Golf Association.

Daniel R. Verrille, a lifelong Rye resident and retired country club superintendent died July 12, 1995 at White Plains Hospital. He was 81.

At the time of his death, Daniel Verrilie was survived by his wife of Rye; two daughter Catherine Verrilie and Judy McQuade, both of Rye; two brothers Paul Verrilie of Rye. and Joseph Verrille of Florida; and two sister Florence Menick and Vicki Lanzaroneboth of Florida and two grandchildren.
