John P. Myers
John Perry Myers was born in Port Chester, New York, June 25, 1927. the son of Laurette Walker and Walter Perry Myers. During the First World War, his Father served with the cavalry as an adjutant on General Pershing's staff. John was raised in Rye and he had one brother,

and were members of the Presbyterian Church.
John enlisted in 1943 and served in the US Navy during WWII. He was stationed in Florida and his service number was 7138470.

Home from Navy Service
John P. Myers, the older son of Mr, and Mrs. Walter P. Myers, has just returned to his home on Hillside Road from over two years Naval Air service and is now associated with his father in the sale of Willys Jeeps and Regal Motor Scooters.

After his service John returned home in the family business Willys Jeeps and Regal Motor Scooters. His father died in 1949 and the family moved full time to their farm in upstate New York.
John Perry Myers, 46, died May 24,1974 in Orlando, FL
At the time of his death, survivors included his wife, Florence Myers; a son, Robert P. Myers; and a daughter, Carol Ann Myers, all of Titusville; and a brother, Paul W. Myers of Homestead.
As of 11/23/25 we have no further information on this veteran.
